Our reply: Thanks for your email. Are you able to take the spanners out, make it as flat as possible and then put a ruler below each row and up the side?

Work Apron for Beach Fishing

Email from James: “I am looking for an apron for beach fishing.
I have seen your work aprons and they look fantastic, is there was a way to include a chest piece which would loop over the neck, something to protect my clothes smelling fishy when I pull a fish to my chest to take the hook out, but has pockets for pliers, rig cases etc. like your work aprons.
I’ve seen solutions online, but I would prefer to support local, and love your work apron solution – well made, well priced and made in Australia!”

Our reply: I can add a bib to our apron with some extra pockets and a strap for your neck that fastens with d’s.

That was quite literally what we did: added a bib to our work apron that had more pockets and a strap for the neck which fastens with d-rings. In reality upon drawing it up and making this canvas apron it really is just an apron for anything! Kitchen apron, workshop apron, gardening apron and, yes, a fishing apron.

New Custom Canvas

I have been very busy lately and some of it has been custom motorcycle gear and bags.

There were the tank covers for Ty and Sarah, who are about to travel the world on their BMW Gs650’s. You can follow their trip here at The Ride of Our Life. The covers were to fit two purposes: to hide the nice looking beemers a bit and to provide some extra storage via the molle webbing system. This was the first I had seen this webbing system that is used by the military. A wide range of pouches, water bottle holders etc can strap to the webbing.

I have also made a satchel for school books that is based on the panniers. The customer came up with the idea and I love how it has turned out. It is basically the same as one pannier with a shorter roll-down and a shoulder strap. This is made in pink and purple ripstop canvas.

I recently used a Naz bag, slightly customised, for my recent Rally in Mongolia. A small top bag I wanted for carrying stuff for day access on the front rack of the bike. I needed some minor changes, they were accepted, and done without any additional charge, Service!. Overall the product is very well made, and despite the warning that it is not waterproof, (I did have everything inside in a waterproof bag), we endured a 5 hour long deluge and I had very little water egress in the bag, and that was due to it not being closed properly due to it having too much inside. (my fault). 12 days riding through Mongolia, the bag performed very well. Did everything I asked of it, I have also bought the shopping bags, again very well made. When I think of Naz Bags, its Service, Solid reliable products that are well made, and thought out.

I'd like to give 6 stars but Google won't let me. Got my tool roll today and I'm stoked. Its beautiful, built like a you-know-what and just packs in a heap of gear no worries. Awesome to find Australians making top rate gear with Australian materials. So quit reading this and go buy some of Naz's gear. You won't be disaapointed and you'll be nack for more.

The quality and workmanship of the firepit bag i purchased exceeded my expectations, very happy with the product and will last me many years due to the quality of the product produced by Naz Bags. Purchased motorcycle saddle bags recently. Naz delivered before the agreed date. As I am planning an extended trip and am carrying gear for 2 so I got the Big Fella panniers (probably a little on the large size for the bike but they still work well). Just did approx 2000 km trip and can't fault them. Can recommend highly.

Just got myself some canvas motorcycle panniers standard from “Naz Bags” Naz Bags is a small Australian business and the goods are made to order by Naz herself in QLD. My new Naz Bags, are just thrown over the passenger seat on my 2022 Classic 350 and then secured to the framework. I don’t have pannier racks…yet. Bags are extremely well made with expert attention to detail. The material use looks as tough as nails . I couldn’t be happier. If anyone else is interested in getting them I would suggest also purchasing the pair of small flat strips as they definitely help secure the throw over panniers to the bike frame. Took around 3 weeks to make which is pretty dam good for a high quality handmade product ✅ They also pass the “Pub Test “ and Will easily hold a 30 + cans of beer. 😎

Always great gear, that's well built. My tuck log book cover is tough as nails + my over size tuck sling bag, that holds all my maps books and PC as well. I'm just about to get some new bags for the new bike to go with my current top bag. Highly recommended
